NO! They are usually made from silk, cotton or wool. They are called Persian rugs because they come from Persia.
( Modern day Iran. )

No – that are made with regular material that you would find in other rugs or clothes (like cotton, etc.). They are called "Persian", cause they use to come from Persia (which is Iran now).
